HMS Belfast

The HMS Belfast served during the Korean War.  She was build in 1938 as a Royal Navy cruiser and played an active role during the Second World War.  She arrived off the coast of Korea in July 1950, her six inch guns proved highly effective in supporting United Nations ground against the Communist.  She finally left Korea in July 1952 having sailed over 80,000 miles in her Korean War service and fired over 8,000 rounds from her six inch guns.  She is now a museum ship on River Thames in London.
