Excellent work on a subject that has been overlooked for years. It was the Korean War that gave us the military strategy that has been used ever since.

I want to say a huge thank you for creating this wonderful podcast about the Korean War. I have listed to all 68 episodes. I greatly appreciated what must have been a tremendous amount of work on your behalf. I learned a lot about this war of which I previously knew very little. I’ve been to South Korea twice now and your podcast certainly provides a more thorough understanding. If I might provide a suggestion to anyone visiting S Korea that is interested in the Korean War that they visit the War Museum in Seoul, which has a lot of information on and equipment from the Korean War, including tanks, rockets, ships, spy subs, troop transports, etc.
I’d also like to say a quick thank you to you for developing this podcast and somehow managing to insert humour at various points. I laughed out loud a few times when listening. One memory in particular is when you said (ep. 58) “if you are thinking this podcast series … is one of … telling of pointless captures of one of thousands of hills in Korea … well then I am doing a good job of telling the story of the Korean War”.
Once again, thanks so much for your tremendous accomplishment.

Thank you very much for creating this outstanding podcast series. You obviously spent many, many hours in research and preparation, and it shows. May I recommend a book to your listeners? It is “This Is War!: A Photo-Narrative of the Korean War” by David Douglas Duncan. He is a master photographer, and he captures the suffering of war which you described so clearly in your podcast. I was stationed in Korea in the 1990s with the USAF and you taught me many things that I didn’t know. Thank you again for your hard work.
